The public pages do not require an account and do not store any visitor data. They are available in four languages: Dutch, English, German and French. The language is indicated in the URL. /nl/onboarding and /de/onboarding are therefore the same page in two languages, and a shared link opens in the language in which it is written. An address without a language specified in it chooses automatically. /contact redirects a German browser to /de/kontakt and a Dutch browser to /nl/contact. The site first checks the language the visitor has selected via the language settings, and if none has been selected, it checks the language specified by the browser. From version 1.3.8 onwards.
There is one exception to this rule: the documentation. An address without a language specification always redirects to the Dutch version, rather than to the visitor’s language. The reason for this is explained at Documentatie.
